1. Clean Microwave with Lemon
For this cleaning method, you need to place a few slices of lemon in a bowl with a tablespoon of water. Now microwave the bowl for one or two minutes to boil water. After that, wipe off the microwave with a clean towel. This mixture will break down the grime and grease. Hence, it’s easier to clean the appliance from the inside.
2. Clean with Vinegar
If food splatters are stubborn, you need to spray white vinegar into the microwave. Let it sit for around 15 minutes and after that use a clean microfiber cloth to wipe off the surface. Also, remove the glass plate for proper cleaning.

Now, scrub to remove this mixture and wipe it with a clean wet sponge. If any residue remains, clean it with a paper towel.
4. Wash it Off with Dish soap
For this method, you need to put one cup of water and one spoon full of dish soap in a bowl. Place this bowl in the microwave and let it heat for up to two minutes to generate steam, as it boils over. Let it sit inside for three minutes before you open the microwave door. Now, remove the bowl with your own mitts and wipe off the interior with paper towels.
5. Do Sponging
You need to immerse the sponge in water and add a drop of dish soap onto it. Microwave the sponge for two to three minutes and let it let for a few minutes before you clean the interior thoroughly with the sponge.
6. Use Salt
If you spill any liquid into your microwave plate, you must sprinkle salt on it and heat it for a few minutes. When the microwave cools down, you can wipe off the interior with a clean cloth. This same trick also works for spillage on a stovetop.
